This insert dropped the exhaust note just enough to pass our local sound test without killing any power. The 1.125-inch size fit perfectly into the RS-9 muffler body.

I was skeptical about how much difference a 1.125-inch insert could make, but this kit did exactly what I needed to meet local noise restrictions without totally gutting the exhaust note. The install was straightforward, and the included hardware fit perfectly with the RS-9 muffler.

Bought this to tone down the bark on my RS-9 for hunting; it installs easily and the decibel drop is noticeable without killing performance. The low-volume insert does exactly what it's supposed to.
