This stainless tail pipe bolted right up to my SV1000 with no issues, and the finish looks better than the rusty original. It’s a solid replacement part that fits exactly as described for a 2004 model. Just wish it came with new gaskets, but the pipe itself is perfect.

The fit on my bike was spot-on—no shims or grinding needed to line it up with the muffler. Finish looks clean and the welds are tidy, though I wish the packing had arrived with a small gasket for the joint. Still, for a direct replacement part, it does exactly what it should.
