Why these plates matter

The plates are 3D-printed from Onyx, a nylon-carbon fiber blend. That makes them UV-resistant, heat-resistant, and paintable if you want to color-match your bike.
Installation steps
- Remove the stock signal: Unscrew the factory turn signal from the front bracket. Keep the rubber grommet and washer — you may reuse them. If the stock signal is stuck, apply penetrating oil and let it sit for 10 minutes before unscrewing.
- Position the mount plate: Place the Yoshimura plate over the bracket hole. Align the tab so the signal faces forward and slightly outward. The plate has a subtle orientation mark — the flat edge should point toward the bike center.
- Secure the plate: Insert the supplied bolt through the plate and into the bracket. Tighten by hand, then torque to 4–6 Nm. Do not overtighten. Overtightening can crack the 3D-printed plate. Use a torque wrench if available.
- Mount the aftermarket signal: Thread your 8mm-stem LED signal into the plate's threaded hole. Hand-tighten until snug, then add a quarter turn. Do not use thread locker — the nylon-carbon mix can react with some compounds. Use a rubber washer instead.
- Route and test wiring: Feed the signal wire through the bracket and connect it to the bike's harness. Test left and right signals before reassembling. If the signal blinks fast, your LED may need a load resistor — check the signal kit instructions.
